The addition of XRP brings the total number of coin offerings on Coinsquare’s platform to 7.
Today Coinsquare, Canada’s premier cryptocurrency trading platform for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrency, announced the addition of XRP to its coin offerings. XRP is the first coin from global payment system Ripple. XRP is often celebrated for its transaction speed, with some XRP transactions settling in just a few seconds compared to several minutes with some other coins.
“Coinsquare aims to offer convenient and safe access to the highest-quality cryptocurrencies through its platform,” said Cole Diamond, CEO of Coinsquare. “XRP has been a highly requested asset which we are thrilled to now be offering to Canadians. Now that we have the technical infrastructure built out to add more currencies safely and efficiently, I’m excited to announce that we will be adding more coins to our offering in the near future.”
The expansion of Coinsquare’s offering with XRP has cemented another step in the company’s global trajectory. The digital currency platform also recently announced the launch of Coinsquare Licensing, a division that will enable domestic and international businesses to offer a cryptocurrency trading solution powered by Coinsquare’s technology; as well as a number of key hires including the most recent addition to their executive team, Thomas Jankowski, who joined as Coinsquare’s Chief Digital and Growth Officer.
“The carefulness that we took with listing XRP will enable us to more seamlessly support coins moving forward, and has allowed Coinsquare to have the groundwork in place for more streamlined expansion,” said Thomas Jankowski, Chief Digital and Growth Officer of Coinsquare.
Coinsquare is Canada’s premier cryptocurrency trading platform for trading Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies. Since our founding in 2014, we’ve never lost a coin.
